Unlike more active yoga classes, Yin Yoga is a deep practice that encourages the body to relax rather than engage. In Yin Yoga, floor postures are held passively for 3-5 minutes. Releasing the connective tissue in the body creates range of motion in the joints and muscles, while opening and enhancing the body’s energetic flow. Yin Yoga is a quiet practice, allowing you to find a balanced state of peace and calm in both body and mind.
This class will be a wonderful opportunity to experience Yin Yoga in a relaxed, comfortable environment. All are welcome.
