Unlike more active yoga classes, Yin Yoga is a deep practice that encourages the body to relax rather than engage. In Yin Yoga, floor postures are held passively for several minutes, focusing on the hips, lower back and legs. Releasing the connective tissue in the body creates range of motion in the joints and muscles, while opening and enhancing the body’s energetic flow. Yin Yoga is a quiet practice, allowing you to find a balanced state of peace and calm in both body and mind.
This event will be a wonderful opportunity to experience Yin Yoga in a relaxed, comfortable environment. All are welcome.
